This will be your April calendar review page. Videos will accompany each assignment. The one difference is that I will post two videos. The first video will be a brief review on the topic and the second will be a video with the answers. Start by watching the first video, then do the assignment and lastly check your work with the second video. I know, I know ,it sounds painful but it is just for one more month. I want you to do well!!!
Day 1:Order of Operations and Properties Second Video coming at 9pm. It know it is late. Watch it tomorrow! Good luck on your on the ELA test.
Day 2:Prime and Composite Numbers, Prime Factorization, GCF and LCM
Day 3: Mixed Numbers, Improper Fractions, Adding, Subtracting and Multiplying Fractions
Day 4: Dividing with fractions and also using models ( a fan favorite).
Day 5: Operations with Decimals
Day 6: You have one file today and the multiple choice part of your first practice test. I was going to put a video for the multiple choice but it was just getting way too long. instead, I am going to ask to email email me the multiple questions that you had trouble with. I will make a video of those multiple choice questions.
Day 7: You have one file today and the short answer part of your first practice test. I will put the video with the answers on Sunday.
Day 8 Fractions Decimals Percents. Taxes and tips too. The first file , "Convert Fractions, Decimals, and Percents has an answer sheet at the end. So you can check your answers right away.
Day 9: Good news, bad news. Good news: You got a break today. Also, my laptop is salvage and I pick it up tomorrow evening. Bad news: I am finally getting to know this computer I borrowed which means day 9 will be up. And by tomorrow life will be back to normal. It was not comforting to know how a laptop had taken control of my daily activities.
Day 10: Some random questions on equations and expressions that I collected from different files.
Day 11 Computer is back but not back to normal. Only one file today. Hoping by tomorrow, everything will be back to normal. Also, I made a mistake on the days. What was day 9 should have been day 10, and what was day 10 should have been day 11. Just keep that in mind please.
Day 12 For the record, day 12 is Friday, April 11. As you can tell the assignments and the days are not matching. So, by now you noticed just one file for today. I have been trying all afternoon to put the second file, but was a complete failure. I might need a new laptop soon. Starting tomorrow, Saturday the number of the file and the day will match up (I hope).
Day 13 corresponds to Saturday. There are no assignments today.
Day 14 corresponds to Sunday. There are no assignments today.
Day 15 is Monday, April 14. A 20 question mini practice test today and the usual daily file.
Day 16 is Tuesday, April 15. I am currently in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Will catch up with the videos at the end of the week upon my return. Two files today.
Day 17 is Wednesday, April 16. Have you applied for an extension? Geometry today and tomorrow.
Day 18 is Thursday April 17. Geometry day 2.
Day 19 is Friday, April 18.
Day 20 is Saturday, April 19. Take the practice test. Divide it in two parts. Questions 1-28 today and 29-56 tomorrow.
Day 21 is Sunday, April 20. Do questions 29-56 of the practice test from yesterday.
Day 22 is Monday, April 21.
Day 23 is Tuesday, April 22. Enjoy this last day of your break.
Day 24 is Wednesday, April 23.
Day 25 is Thursday, April 24.
Day 26 is Friday, April 25.
Day 27 and 28 is Saturday and Sunday. You have a packet this weekend.
Day 29 is Monday, April 28.
Day 30 is Tuesday, April 29.
